During the major storm of August 2006, this bunkie like many other homes & cottages, sustained minor to major damage. Luke Contracting was able to assist many people with repairs & reconstruction to get their homes & properties back into working, liveable order. Many jobs were cosmetic (windows, siding, shingles, etc.) but many homes required extensive repair to roof trusses, whole roof systems, decks, walls & siding; and for some, interior damage as well. | ||

These photo's show the outside of a bedroom converted into a mudroom/entranceway.
The interior bedroom was gutted and an interior dividing wall moved forward to allow more space in the room behind it. Storage space for a double coat closet & utility space for a freezer & extra pantry storage were also built. |

wainscoting, red oak corner shelf, steel entrance door, and the coat closet with bi-fold doors. This room was completed further by painting the bi-fold doors the same blue as the walls and using a complimentary wallpaper border at the edge of the wainscoting. |
